Oktagon MMA smashed MMA attendance records as 59,000 packed a soccer stadium in Frankfurt, Germany for their latest big event.
Oktagon 62 took place at Deutsche Bank Park, home of Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt, as the Czech-Slovak promotion held its biggest and most ambitious show to date.
The event was a slam-dunk success, as a packed, raucous crowd was treated to a spectacular night of fights, with a little music thrown in for good measure.
Three new champions crowned at Oktagon 62
In the main event, Frankfurt’s own Christian Eckerlin defeated his welterweight rival, Stuttgart’s Christian Jungwirth, with a dominant performance to earn a shutout victory on the judges’ scorecards.

That followed the co-main event, where Kerim Engizek dethroned Oktagon’s number-one ranked pound-for-pound fighter, Patrik Kincl, for the middleweight title.
The first title fight of the night saw the lone non-European fighter capture championship gold as former UFC strawweight Mallory Martin defeated champion Katharina Dalisda in their rematch to capture the Oktagon women’s strawweight title.
