Oklahoma guard Taylor Robertson breaks career 3-point record

Date:

Oklahoma’s Taylor Robertson is forever etched into the NCAA record books, with 498 3-pointers to set the NCAA record.

The guard set the Division I women’s basketball record for 3-pointers on Saturday, nailing at least one three in the team’s matchup against No. 18 Iowa State.

Robertson is a fifth-year senior but still reached the record set by Ohio State’s Kelsey Mitchell in fewer games: 138 to 139. She also broke it in fewer games with fewer attempts: 1,134 to Mitchell’s 1,286.

The record also means that Robertson has made at least one 3-pointer in 62 consecutive games.
