Lexy Keys may never be forgotten in Norman, Oklahoma. Her late three gave Oklahoma a 71-70 win over No. 3 Texas, and clinched the Sooners second-straight Big 12 title.

Texas and Oklahoma’s Wednesday night match-up was the last time the teams would meet as Big 12 rivals, and also one of the most anticipated games in series history. No. 3 Texas visited the Lloyd Noble Center on an eight-game winning streak, with their last loss, also against Oklahoma, taken on January 24.
But the Longhorns looked like they were about to escape a hostel Sooner crowd, as Madison Bookers’ last-minute free throws had Texas in front late.
After the Sooners re-gained possession, Keys, an Oklahoma native and Oklahoma State transfer, found herself with enough time and space to rip a wing three and give Oklahoma a lead they wouldn’t relinquish.
