What’s at stake
Angel City’s playoff hopes are very much on the line in this match. They enter the weekend three points behind the final playoff spot, although a -10 goal differential gives Angel City even more ground to make up over the last handful of weeks. Meanwhile, the Spirit has locked up a playoff spot and will likely host a playoff game. Washington also has the best chance of unseating Orlando from the top seed, although the Spirit has seven points to make up in five matches.
