Williams, who retired after last year’s US Open, won 23 Grand Slams during her astonishing career. “Huge honor to be sharing the #23 with you, Serena,” Djokovic wrote on his Instagram Story. After last year’s French Open, Rafael Nadal had 22 Grand Slam titles and Djokovic 20.
Since then, Djokovic has won 2022 Wimbledon and this year’s Australian Open and French Open. “Obviously, Grand Slam is a Grand Slam. I am beyond fortunate in my life to win 23 times Grand Slams. It’s an incredible incredible feeling,” Djokovic said.
