Noche UFC date, start time, odds, schedule & card for Alexa Grasso vs. Valentina Shevchenko 2

Date:

At UFC 285, Alexa Grasso pulled off the ultimate upset when she dethroned the mighty Valentina Shevchenko to win the UFC flyweight title. Now, the UFC takes over Las Vegas with an epic rematch for the belt on Mexican Independence Day. Will it be repeat or revenge at Noche UFC on September 16?

Noche UFC takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and airs on ESPN+ in the U.S. The event, which is a Fight Night, is getting PPV-level treatment with a title fight — a throwback to years past.

Grasso turned pro in 2012 and joined the UFC in 2016. The former Invicta FC fighter is 8-3 inside the octagon and was on a four-fight win streak when she faced Shevchenko in March. During their fight, Grasso caught a spinning Shevchenko and locked in a choke, submitting her in the fourth round to become the first woman from Mexico to hold UFC gold.

Competing on Mexican Independence Day, Grasso, the underdog in both the first bout and this one, will look to prove she deserves to hold gold and be a leading figure in the UFC.
