Tennis fans have sharply attacked the new champions who are dominating the WTA Tours, at the same time saying that none of the said champions are remotely close to Serena Williams.This harsh reaction from fans came after Iga Swiatek’s sensational elimination from the US Open against Jelena Ostapenko in the fourth round at Flushing Meadows.A user, for example, wrote: “There’s really no one close to Serena Williams and the great Novak.
These new champions are just jokers.”Another one added: “Great game by Ostapenko, literally demolished the world #1 in the third set. Iga failed to improvise and she did not prepare enough for the hard court season.
