No. 2 Nebraska holds on, defeating No. 10 Purdue 3-2.
Nebraska’s home win streak stays intact, extending to 35 games — the longest in the nation. Purdue falls to 0-7 in its past seven matches in Lincoln, with the Boilermaker’s last road win against the Cornhuskers coming in 2013.
No team could create separation, as each set was decided by three or fewer points. In the fifth set, Purdue held a match point, up 15-14, but Nebraska rallied, securing the final set 17-15.

The Cornhuskers took the first set, 25-22, but the Boilermakers were resilient tonight, winning the next two sets by a combined five points. But Nebraska would not be put away in front of its rowdy home crowd, winning the fourth set 25-22.
Purdue (12-4, 3-2 Big Ten) had an impressive .311 hitting percentage tonight, compared to Nebraska’s .242. However, Purdue tallied 19 service errors to the Cornhuskers seven.
