Nikolay Davydenko has taken another shot at Nick Kyrgios as this time the former four-time Grand Slam champion described the Australian as someone who “talks nonsense on and off the court.”
Throughout his career, the 29-year-old has never been afraid to share his opinion or feelings about a particular thing on social media. And while sidelined and recovering from his wrist surgery, the 2022 Wimbledon runner-up had an even bigger platform to voice his opinions since he was working as a commentator and analyst during some of the biggest tournaments this year.
Over the last couple of months, Kyrgios has been very outspoken about the Jannik Sinner doping case. When the Iga Swiatek news dropped, he shared a similar perspective and view.
Asked about it, Davydenko suggested he wasn’t surprised to see the former world No. 13 calling out his colleagues.
“Nick always talks, he’s a showman. He talks nonsense on and off the court and will continue to do so. We’ll hear him more than once,” the 2009 ATP Finals champion said, via Championat.
