Nick Kyrgios laughed off Rennae Stubbs’ suggestion that WTA matches saved the day at this year’s French Open. After Iga Swiatek beat Karolina Muchova 6-2 5-7 6-4 in the French Open final, former six-time Grand Slam doubles champion Stubbs made a claim.

“Don’t tell me women’s tennis (is) boring! The semis were better and now this final is fantastic! Yes the 2nd set of Alcaraz Joker was amazing but the match was blah and the Rudd Zverev match was BLAHHH. Thank goodness for the ladies!” Stubbs tweeted.

Kyrgios reacted with a laughing emoji.

Stubbs then asked Kyrgios: “Tell me where I am wrong Nick?” Kyrgios again had the same response.

During the Iga Swiatek and Karolina Muchova final at Roland Garros, the 26-year-old Czech was called “one of the most complete players on the WTA Tour” by coach Patrick Mouratoglou.

Kyrgios also reacted to that with a laughing emoji.
