Three weeks of the 2023 NFL season have somehow concluded, with plenty of fun and fury along the way for fantasy football owners. While injuries have left millions of teams in season-long redraft leagues scrambling, those of us on the DFS side of things continue to enjoy the luxury of starting fresh each week. And we’re winning, too — our weekly sleepers and value picks have already helped our DraftKings and FanDuel lineups pull in hundreds of dollars on the young season.
If you’re new here, the concept of this column is simple: Identify players we view as undervalued or overlooked by the majority of daily fantasy players. Every Tuesday, we scour DraftKings, FanDuel, and SuperDraft to pinpoint the best investments — like my wife scouring Facebook Marketplace for furniture we don’t need — and then we write about our favorite plays for each position. We also review our hits from the previous week, kind of like a kid pinning positive quiz results to the refrigerator.
By capitalizing on affordable sleepers in certain DFS roster spots, we leave ourselves the budget to greatly improve other roster spots with weekly studs.
