World Number One Nelly Korda has claimed her seventh title of 2024 in the ANNIKA tournament, and in doing so has made LPGA Tour history.
The 26-year-old is now the first American since 1990 to win seven-plus times during a season. She is also just the third player in LPGA Tour history to have a season with six or more wins.
To add to that, Korda was also part of the victorious US Solheim Cup team in September, and was awarded the 2024 Rolex Player Of The Year award, when nobody could catch her in the points table.
The attractive young American, who made more headlines over the last few weeks for posting pictures on her social media of her photoshoot wearing a sleek black swimsuit for Sports Illustrated magazine, shot a winning score of 14-under par in the ANNIKA event. In doing so, she erased what was a six-shot deficit in the third round by shooting a final round of three-under-par 67. Korda stayed patient throughout the final round to outrun a crowded leaderboard and win by three clear strokes.
