The 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials Marathon women’s field looks different than it did four years ago in a lot of ways. For one thing, it’s arguably one of the deepest fields ever assembled, with more than just a few key players vying for the podium. For another, it’s as diverse as ever. And another key difference? There are more mothers competing this time around, with at least 22 between the professional and sub-elite fields combined, which is made up of approximately 160 women.
