First, kudos to the South Carolina Gamecocks for another remarkable season.
Entering Sunday’s national championship game, which was their third title game in the last five years, head coach Dawn Staley had led her team to an impressive 35-3 record, which included a share of the SEC regular-season championship and the SEC Tournament championship.
