NCAAW: Smooth sailing for the Tigers to close out the year

Things were a bit tense the last time we visited the LSU Lady Tigers. We recapped the Angel Reese saga and, while she had just returned, things remained uncertain.

Now, the Reese situation seems settled and the team hasn’t skipped a beat. So, let’s recap the games that occurred and what’s left in 2023 for the Lady Tigers.


Lady Tigers dominate, set school record for points

In the pair of games the Tigers have played, one word can recap it all.

DOMINANCE.

Against the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns, the Tigers won by 30 points and the trio of Reese, Aneesah Morrow and Mikayla Williams outscored the Ragin’ Cajuns by themselves.

Louisiana, unfortunately, didn’t have a chance. They threw the kitchen sink at LSU—playing 17 players. Now, seven of those players saw under eight minutes of playing time, but it’s still hard to play that many players, even with garbage time.
