While the Jimmy V Women’s Classic began in 2002, this Sunday will be the first time the event will feature three games.
And it’s not just three games in a row, but three games with five of the six teams ranked. The triple-header also is on national television, starting with No. 1 South Carolina (6-0) at Duke (5-2) at 1 p.m. ET on ABC followed by No. 11 UConn (4-2) vs. No. 10 Texas (8-0) at 3 p.m. on ABC and concluding with No. 16 Ohio State (5-1) vs. No. 20 Tennessee (4-3) at 5 p.m. on ESPN.

Is it possible to be the top team and still have a chip on your shoulder? If so, then that’s South Carolina. Having fallen short of their title dreams last season, they are playing obsessed, determined to get back to the mountaintop and dominate in doing so.
