NCAAW: Kiki Iriafen transfers from Stanford to USC

Kiki Iriafen, arguably the best player to enter the transfer portal, will take her talents to USC.

After a breakout junior season at Stanford that saw her drop 41 points in the second round of the NCAA Tournament and win the Katrina McClain Award as the nation’s best power forward, Iriafen opted to leave Palo Alto and head to her hometown of Los Angeles. In suiting up for the Trojans, Iriafen, a contender for the No. 1 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, will form one of the nation’s most fearsome duos with the phenomenal JuJu Watkins.

One of the nation’s top recruiting classes—Kennedy Smith (No. 6), Kayleigh Heckel (No. 13), Avery Howell (No. 16), Vivian Iwuchukwu (No. 47), Rian Forestier (No. 54) and Laura Williams (No. 92)—also will arrive at Southern Cal. (And, Talia von Oelhoffen, who is transferring from Oregon State, could also choose to join the Women of Troy).
