The road to the Women’s College World Series has begun — the NCAA has officially released this year’s 64-team bracket for the annual tournament.
With a myriad of powerhouse programs in the running, the 2025 tournament is looking to be a gritty one. Oklahoma is back in the bracket looking to snag an unprecedented fifth consecutive championship, but the Sooners are sitting at No. 2 this time, behind Texas A&M.
The tournament will get started with regionals hosted in 16 different cities, and will then continue onto Super Regionals and eventually the Women’s College World Series. Florida, Arkansas, Texas, UCLA and Oregon are among some of the other lucky teams hosting in the first round.
