Oklahoma has won the last four NCAA softball titles, but that all may change this year.
Sixty-four teams across the country heard their names called on Sunday for the 2025 NCAA softball tournament. Of those, eight teams will fulfill their dreams and head to the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City.
It all begins with regionals on May 16. Four teams will go face off across 16 sites with double-elimination in play. Winners advance to Super Regionals, where they play a best-of-three series. Then, it’s time for the final stage.
It’s going to be one of the toughest tournaments yet with big swings and big upsets bound to happen. Texas A&M claimed the No. 1 overall seed for the first time in school history, with the Sooners sliding in at No. 2.
