NC State, Ohio State enter top 5 of latest women’s basketball Power 10

A second-ranked team fell for the sixth time this women’s basketball season, one of two top-10 upsets to kick off February and cause major change in NCAA.com correspondent Autumn Johnson’s Power 10 rankings. 

Here’s a look at Johnson’s complete rankings after Week 14.

Power 10 for week of Feb. 4, 2024

  1. South Carolina (1) – The Gamecocks continue to cruise through SEC play with a 29-point win over Ole Miss Sunday.
  2. Iowa (3) – Caitlin Clark’s 38-point, 12-assist evening Saturday helped Iowa survive a raucous XFINITY Center and a pair of late Maryland runs. 
  3. NC State (5) – Winners of four straight, NC State hosts ranked Louisville Monday in a bout with massive ACC ramifications.
  4. Colorado (6) – Tormenting the Evergreen State this weekend, Colorado staved off Washington State before trouncing Washington.
  5. Ohio State (9) – The Buckeyes are proving why they’re one of the best in the nation, picking up another top-10 win over Indiana.
