With almost two full weeks of the 2024 Olympics officially in the books, many sports have just started to heat up. Medals will once again be on the line in tonight’s primetime broadcast schedule on NBC, with a handful of stars from diving and track and field highlighting the coverage.
NBC’s primetime slate will kick off at 8 p.m. ET, with juxtaposed coverage between the women’s 10-meter diving platform final and the men’s 400-meter semifinals. Then Americans Quincy Hall and Michael Norman will compete for a spot in the medal games in the 400-meter semifinals.

At 9:00 p.m. ET, USA star Jasmine Jones will compete in the semis of the women’s 400-meter hurdles, while Gabby Thomas will try for her first Olympic medal in the women’s 200-meter final. It’s safe to say that speed is a big part of the primetime coverage this evening!
