NBA All-Star Weekend is getting another makeover, and TNT’s “Inside The NBA” crew will play a significant role in it.
At 6:30 p.m. ET Thursday, Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith will take on temporary general manager jobs as they each draft an eight-player squad for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game. This year’s All-Star format functions as a mini-tournament, as the units O’Neal, Barkley and Smith construct will face off against one another.
Two of the eight-man All-Star teams will meet in one semifinal game, while the other All-Star team will face off in a semifinal matchup against the winner of the Rising Stars championship game, an event that includes a collection of the league’s young talent. WNBA legend Candace Parker will be the honorary general manager of the winning Rising Stars team that will go head-to-head against the All-Stars.
The 24 NBA All-Stars in 2025 have already been selected — now, they have to be assigned to a team.
