This year’s Nastia Liukin Cup Series will comprise 22 meets, each of which will qualify one senior gymnast (aged 16 or older) and one junior (15 or younger) to the 16th Nastia Liukin Cup in Louisville, Kentucky, on February 25.
This week, there was only one qualifying invitational meet.

Avery King, a five-star recruit and Arkansas commit, finished the Texas Prime Meet with the second-highest all-around score of the series thus far, surpassed only by previously qualified athletes Avery Neff and Kamila Pawlak. King returned to level 10 this season, following two appearances at the US championships as a junior elite. She improved her bars score from a 9.450 to a 9.800, and achieved a personal best all-around score of 38.150, up from her previous high of 37.825.
Julia Nehmer, who secured a top-ten finish in last year’s Nastia Liukin Cup, clinched her second qualification to the event based on her results in this weekend’s qualifier. Notably, Nehmer achieved a personal best on bars, winning the event with a score of 9.700. Recent training videos show her working a solid back handspring, loso, loso series on beam.
