The 2023 tennis season is over, but you can already breathe the air and atmosphere that precedes the next exciting 2024 season. Rafael Nadal’s comeback is one of the main topics among tennis fans. On the WTA Tour, Naomi Osaka, Angelique Kerber and Emma Raducanu will be the stars who will return to compete.
In just a few weeks the women’s Tour is preparing to experience an intense Australian Swing, which will officially open the 2024 season. The complete entry list for the main draw of the Australian Open has been released. The seeding will be led by Iga Swiatek, while the Belarusian Aryna Sablenka, seeded number 2, will be called to defend the title.
Osaka and Kerber will benefit from the protected ranking, while Emma Raducanu will probably have to start again from the qualifiers. For protected ranking purposes, there will also be the comeback of the young US tennis player Amanada Anisimova.
