The Missouri Valley Conference will hold its women’s basketball tournament this week. All 12 teams from the conference will head to the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana, in hopes of being named the MVC tournament champion.
Slotted as the top seed is Murray State, which finished the regular season at 22-7 overall and 16-4 in the conference on its way to a share of the regular season title with Missouri State. The Racers also enter the tournament on a seven-game win streak. Murray State will face the winner of No. 8 Valparaiso vs. No. 9 Bradley on Friday, March 14.
Missouri State, Belmont and Drake round out the rest of the top four seeds.
