Adrian Appiolaza was only announced as Moschino’s creative director on January 30, and subsequently had just one month to design his debut collection which was just unveiled during Milan Fashion Week Fall 2024. Perhaps the most highly-anticipated collection of the 5-day Milanese affair, the Argentinian designer has won over members of theFashionSpot forums completely. Appiolaza’s debut featured paper boats used as hats, playful tromp l’oeil prints and flashes of the Moschino archive with question mark motifs and joyful smiley face sweaters and accessories. A toned-down version of Moschino’s quirky house codes, if you will.
