Okay, most of us can’t stand when people pull the baby/childhood pictures out, but…sometimes it’s necessary.
In case you haven’t heard, Paige Bueckers and the UConn Huskies won the NCAA title on Sunday night, which rounds out Bueckers prolific collegiate career that has seen her win tons of honors including; 2025 Big East Player of the Year, 2024 Big East Player of the Year, the 2024 NCAA Tournament Portland 3 Region Most Outstanding Player, the 2021 Wooden Award and the 2021 AP Player of the Year, amongst plenty of other honors.
In just a few short days (eight to be exact), Bueckers will know for sure where she’ll be playing in the WNBA (she’s projected to be the No.1 pick this year), but tonight is all about the celebration. Speaking of celebrations, for those who don’t know, Bueckers is a Minnesota native, and shortly after UConn’s win, the Minnesota Vikings took to X to share an adorable childhood picture of the athlete.
