NCAA.com team of the week, Michigan State improved to 9-0 on the season after the latest win, an 89-61 rout of DePaul on Sunday, marking the best start to a season in program history.
The Spartans have now won their last 14 regular season games dating back to last year, finishing with five-straight wins in 2023-24. The 14-game regular season win streak is Michigan State’s longest since winning 14 regular season games in a row during the 2010-11 season.
In the win over DePaul, Michigan State broke the school record for blocks in a game with 14, which was previously 13 set by the 2006 team against Indiana. Seven players had at least one block in the game for head coach Robyn Fralick, led by a game-high four blocks from junior forward Grace VanSlooten.
