The first round of the 2021 DIII women’s golf championship is finished. Carnegie Mellon is in first place with a +24 after the opening round. Oglethorpe’s Sarah Hsu shot a 74 and is +2 to lead all individual players.
The 2021 championship is being held at Forest Akers in Lansing, Michigan. Twenty-five teams and six individuals and competing in the first round. After 54 holes of competition, only the top 15 teams and the top six individuals not on one of those teams will compete in the final round on Friday, May 14.
For team competition, the four lowest scores from each team, each day, will count toward a team’s total score.
