Nearly a dozen American players went to Mumbai this weekend to compete in the Monsoon Championships 2.0. This was the second annual event in India – the largest pickleball tournament to date in the country.
The American contingent competing was led by Quang Duong and Megan Fudge, each earning two gold medals. Ryler DeHeart earned two silver medals and Rob Nunnery took home one silver.
Jay Devilliers earned a gold and a silver, while Thaddea Lock from Great Britain earned two silver medals.
As for players from the host country of India, Armaan Bhatia won a gold, as did Naimi Mehta. Isha Lakhani won a silver medal.
