Tennis icon Martina Navratilova thinks improving the net game might be the next step world No 1 Iga Swiatek can take to improve her overall game. Swiatek, 22, is widely considered one of the most complete players in the game and her results and accomplishments back up that claim.
From the baseline, Swiatek is a mighty force and there are not many players that can beat her from the baseline. But Navratilova, a former 18-time Grand Slam champion, suggests Swiatek is at times staying at baseline when there is no need for her to be there.
With that being said, Navratilova feels Swiatek could become an even better player if she had a better sense and feeling of when to go forward.
