Another honor, another moment of glory, well deserved: Maria Sharapova will be inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony of the class is scheduled in Newport, Rhode Island, from August 21 to 23, 2025. Not just the Russian: twins Mike and Bob Bryan will also be inducted into the HOF.
Sharapova received a huge honor, but well-deserved, considering that she is one of only ten women in tennis history to have completed the Career Grand Slam in singles and was the first Russian to become number 1 WTA, The winner of 5 Grand Slam titles came into the spotlight for the first time in 2004, when, at 17, she won Wimbledon by defeating Serena Williams in the final.
