Manchester United Women will play their Women’s Super League fixture against West Ham United Women at Old Trafford.
The fixture — which is scheduled to take place at 12.30pm (GMT) on Saturday, March 25 — will be United first game at Old Trafford in 2023.
Interest in the women’s game has continued to grow following England’s European Championship success last July. Their opening game of the tournament was held at Old Trafford with the Lionesses beating Austria 1-0.
Marc Skinner’s United previously took on Everton and Aston Villa in the league at Old Trafford. They defeated Everton 3-1 in March and then ran out 5-0 winners against Villa in December.
Skinner said of his side returning to Old Trafford: “Our entire group of players and staff are extremely excited to perform in front of our incredible fans at Old Trafford, for the second time this season.
“As the women’s game continues to grow, we are delighted that this great football club remains at the heart of it and offer another wonderful opportunity for fans – both old and new — to experience a Manchester United Women’s game on the biggest stage.”
