Manchester United will showcase a global health charity as its front-of-shirt sponsor for their Premier League match against West Ham United later this season.
(RED) will replace current sponsor Snapdragon — a subsidiary of Qualcomm — on the front of United’s home shirt for the penultimate game of the campaign on May 10. The U.S.-based charity works with famous brands to raise funds for those affected by AIDS and other global health pandemics.
The charity’s logo will also be worn by United’s women’s team in their league match against Arsenal on May 11.
The initiative is part of United’s existing deal with U.S. technology firm Qualcomm, who agreed to replace TeamViewer as the club’s sponsor in 2023.
The deal, which came into affect at the start of this term, entitles the company to nominate a charitable organisation of their choosing to replace Snapdragon for one match per season.
