Any updates regarding the takeover? I’m hearing the Glazers may be ready to negotiate with the top bidders. What does that look like? Is any potential takeover close? What are the possible timelines? — Sunday M. 

Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani and Sir Jim Ratcliffe were given more time to submit their second bids at the end of March and it has been noticeably quiet since those offers went in.

The Raine Group has received multiple other proposals, including one from the US hedge fund Elliott Investment Management, which has offered to provide financing to the Glazer family in the event they do not sell United. Elliott has also offered to financially support other bids.
