MAAC women’s tournament bracket: Full TV schedule, scores, results for 2024 Metro Atlantic championships

Fairfield stormed through the regular season with an unblemished conference record and now puts its undefeated year on the line in MAAC tournament.

The Stags haven’t lost a game since Nov. 12 and have the ninth-highest point differential in women’s college basketball at plus-20.1 points. Fairfield also allows the fifth-fewest points per game in the country at 53.6 points.

They’ll be a hard out in the MAAC tournament, especially since the only team to lose by fewer than three points was Mount St. Mary’s on Feb. 17. Fairfield won the MAAC in 2022 but lost to Siena in the quarterfinals in 2023.

Niagara and Siena — the No. 2 and No. 3 seeds — other teams to watch in this tournament. Niagara averaged 70.2 points per game this year — 3.2 fewer than Fairfield — while Siena finished third with 68.0 points per game.

Manhattan and Mount St. Mary’s are other solid defensive teams behind Fairfield. Manhattan allowed 56.7 points per game during the regular season while Mount Saint Mary’s gave up 58.2 points per game.

Canisius’ Sisi Eleko is the top scorer to watch in the conference. She averaged a MAAC-leading 16.0 points and 10.8 rebounds per game. Fairfield’s Meghan Andersen is right behind her with 15.6 points per game.
