Meanwhile, Swiatek told Murray: “And you are a resilience role model and an inspiration on so many levels.” Murray, a former world No 1, acknowledged that he also has “a lot of respect” for the current top-ranked players in the men’s and women’s game.
“It’s nice getting messages from those players. Obviously, I have a lot of respect for them,” Andy Murray said during a recent interview with The Times.
