After a week full of action, we’ve finally made it to the regional final! If all of the favorites advance to the final, we should be seeing Oklahoma, Alabama, and Michigan competing today. NC State will likely join them, but Ohio State does have the chance to sneak in and pull the upset.
It would be shocking if Oklahoma didn’t advance to nationals, especially given how it’s performed towards the end of this season. That means the real competition to qualify to nationals will be between Alabama and Michigan, two teams that missed nationals last year. Alabama has had the more consistent and high-scoring season so far, but we’re in Michigan’s home arena. Plus, the rest of the season doesn’t matter, only today does. Who will come out on top and avoid two straight years of heartbreak? We’ll find out soon!
