Elina Svitolina recently talked about herself in an interview with Vogue Ukraine, focusing first of all about the family.
The Ukrainian tennis player explained: “We hope that Gael and I have another couple of children and that our daughter Skai continues to develop Ukrainian tennis, my mission is to make concrete efforts to make this happen.”
Svitolina shocked fans when she admitted that she wouldn’t do what she just did this year, recovering over 1000 positions in the WTA ranking: “I don’t go on the field without believing in my victory, but a lot of health is needed and life isn’t limited to tennis.”
The Ukrainian athlete is also focusing on her work in her association created in 2019: “I want to carry out all my tasks, from sport to charity, to help our military, children and all Ukrainians. Children continue to play tennis, they can have those bright moments in these difficult times.”
Elina then recounted the moments of her youth: at the age of 11 she chose to leave tennis to dedicate herself to gymnastics, but in a short time she wanted to change her mind again.
