Conference Realignment Shakes Up NCAA Gymnastics for 2025
The Pac-12 conference continues to dissolve as several schools announced their departure from the conference as early as the 2024-2025 academic year. Washington and Oregon State — which do not sponsor gymnastics — are headed to the Big Ten, joining UCLA and USC, who announced their Pac-12 departures in 2022. Meanwhile, the Big 12 announced the additions of Arizona, Arizona State, and Utah, bringing the total number of teams for gymnastics to seven following Oklahoma’s departure to the SEC.
