You know the one. The one that caught the Fever defense so off guard that no help came for a two-time MVP underneath the basket. The one NBA All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton called the best pass he’d ever seen. The one that didn’t just blow up Chelsea Gray’s phone, but also Becky Hammon’s and those of Gray’s Aces teammates.

Three minutes remained in Las Vegas’ surprisingly nervy contest last month against Indiana. Gray was handling the ball on the break and tracked A’ja Wilson making a rim run in front of the defense. She made a slight move to her right and shaded her defender, Victoria Vivians, over to the middle of the floor before dropping a behind-the-back dime that hit Wilson perfectly in stride for the easy deuce.
