Ever since the powers that be at Lanvin HQ appointed Peter Copping as creative director, we’ve been sat in suspense for his inaugural collection. The British designer was named creative director of the Fosun-owned Paris-based fashion label (founded by Jeanne Lanvin in 1889) back in June. Upon joining Lanvin, Copping served as the head of haute couture at Balenciaga (prior to stints at Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton). Tonight, on the eve of Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week, Copping staged his long-awaited debut coed Lanvin collection for Fall 2025. At Pavillon Gabriel, Copping paid homage to founder Jeanne Lanvin, infusing her signature blue throughout a sophisticated lineup. The collection boasted gowns worthy of international red carpets, and chic and elevated wardrobe essentials. The show also contained Copping’s first-ever menswear designs.
