Kristina Mladenovic slams WTA’s new logo: What this represents?

Kristina Mladenovic isn’t a big fan of the WTA’s new logo as the six-time Grand Slam doubles champion questions who came up with this new design before stating that the old one was better.

A couple of days ago, the WTA revealed its new logo and it is featuring some evident changes.

Unlike the previous logo, the new one doesn’t have a silhouette of a female tennis player, while the colors were changed from purple-white to light green-white.

Also, there is a bigger emphasis on the WTA name. 

“Wondering how you can come up with this? And who approves?” Mladenovic questioned. 

“Green and white? No tennis details? What does it represent? Previous logo was so much better,”

Mladenovic hasn’t been happy with the changes in tennis lately

After the US Open’s plans for their mixed doubles event were reported in early February, the former doubles world No. 1 couldn’t believe what she was reading, slamming it as “terribly shocking.”
