We’re closing this year’s Fashion Retrospections with Fila-sponsored Karolina Pliskova.
Year 2022 marked a big loss for Fila, as their top representative Ashleigh Barty retired from the sport. Another major change in their pool of players happened when 2020 Australian Open champion Sofia Kenin replaced the F-box logo with FP Movement in January. However, Fila balanced things out by signing the 2021 French Open winner Barbora Krejcikova in May.
Even though Karolina Pliskova skipped the Australian Swing due to a hand injury sustained in training, she was Fila’s most prominent WTA player in 2022, so we’re featuring her in this fashion overview.
