Victoria Azarenka is seemingly fed up with certain journalists frequently asking players about retirement. Azarenka, who will be turning 34 in July, suggests there is no need to ask her about her retirement date as she will be the first to reveal the date when she decides it’s time to end her pro tennis career.

“I see a lot of people keep asking about retirement. Once they retire, it’s like, We miss them. Let’s not waste this time before everybody retires to talk about retirement. People will let you guys know when it’s time. Like you really should mind your business,” Azarenka said, per Reem Abulleil.

Azarenka still has the game to compete at the highest level

Azarenka, a two-time Grand Slam champion, reached the semifinal at this year’s Australian Open. En route to reaching her first Grand Slam semifinal since the 2020 US Open, Azarenka clinched some notable wins.
