Arsenal may have got their first league win of the season away at Leicester City last weekend, but their performance left a lot to be desired. However, Jonas Eidevall was keen to stress the positives during his press conference, having achieved the win without the performance desired:
“I think there are a lot of positives in that game. There are things we should be doing better as well. We’re playing that game under tough circumstances, playing a huge game for us in the Champions League on a Thursday night, which obviously took both a lot of physical and mental focus, and having to refocus and recharge for an away game on Sunday, against a tough Leicester team that’s had a whole week of preparation.”
“I’m under no illusion that this is a very competitive WSL season, and we will need to be at our best. We will need to find ways to win, and we were doing exactly that on Sunday. And those are the positives I’m going to focus on.”
