Seattle Storm star Jewell Loyd has enjoyed a sterling career in the Emerald City, racking up six All-Star appearances, two WNBA titles and three All-WNBA appearances across 10 seasons in Storm colors.
Yet her time in the green-and-gold seems to be coming to a rapid close. Seattle’s prolific guard has requested a trade in the aftermath of the 2024 season, according to the Chicago Sun-Times’ Annie Constabile.
The circumstances that brought about Loyd’s request stem from an external investigation into allegations of harassment and bullying the potent shot-maker lodged against the Storm’s coaching staff.

Loyd, Seattle’s No. 1 pick in the 2015 draft, was at the heart of a team-led inquiry into harassment and bullying practices Seattle’s coaching staff allegedly directed toward players.
