Jakub Mensik wrote history at the Miami Open. The young Czech claimed his first ATP title at the notable event, beating Novak Djokovic in the final and achieving many milestones. At 19 years and six months, Jakub became the fifth-youngest Masters 1000 champion!
Mensik joined Michael Chang, Rafael Nadal, Carlos Alcaraz and Holger Rune on a notable list. Thus, he achieved his first Masters 1000 trophy at a younger age than his idol, Novak Djokovic.

Two and a half years later, Mensik entered the charts at 19 years and six months. The Czech came to Miami as world no. 54 and almost withdrew ahead of the event due to physical issues. Luckily, Jakub started his campaign and ousted six rivals en route to a trophy.
