Earlier this month, rumors of a new tennis couple, Anna Kalinskaya and Jannik Sinner, surfaced in Italian media after the two were spotted in Turin. During a post-match interview at Roland Garros, the Italian ATP player confirmed their relationship but emphasized his desire to keep his love life private.
Not only was the world No.25 Kalinskaya watching Sinner’s first-round match from the stands, adding fuel to the relationship rumors, but the 22-year-old ATP player later confirmed the media speculations during the press conference after his routine 6-3 6-3 6-4 win over Christopher Eubanks on Monday at Roland Garros.
“As you know, I don’t like to talk about my private life. I’m with Anna (Kalinskaya) yes,” Sinner told Italian journalists in Paris. “But we keep everything very private. You know me: I won’t talk more than that.”
Later on Monday, the 25-year-old Kalinskaya was also victorious, beating Clara Burel 7-6(3) 7-5 in the first round of Roland Garros. Her next opponent will be Bianca Andreescu.
