The best cities for beginner runners in the UK
Cambridge
Cambridge hit the top spot for beginner runners thanks to its flat and easy-to-traverse terrain. It also offers drier and less windy weather than the UK average. There are 113 listed running routes crossing the city on plenty of paved paths, of which 24 are rated ‘easy’.
